In the US: Galaxy S23 and Pixel 7 take nearly half the price after only 2 months of launch

Sellcell, a smartphone market pricing page recently posted a statistics on the price sliding of three flagships, the iPhone 14 Series, Samsung Galaxy S23 Series and Pixel 7 Series in the US market. The results showed that the Galaxy S23 and Pixel 7 significantly lost more than the iPhone 14 after a while the launch period.

Specifically, the starting price of the Galaxy S23 when launched on February 17 was $ 799.99 (18.7 million). However, after only nearly 2 months of launch, this device has depreciated up to 43.3%, which means that a used Galaxy S23 in a “new” situation is only 56.7% compared to the original purchase price. Meanwhile, Pixel 7 also loses the value of 43.1% and 45.9% respectively after 1 and 2 months of launch. The initial price of Pixel 7 when issued was $ 599 (14 million VND) and the corresponding price of this device after 2 months was about $ 325 (7.6 million).

In contrast to the two devices above, the iPhone 14 only takes 32.3% of the value after the first month, but to the second month, this figure drops to 31%, or $ 799 to $ 552 (12.9 million). This shows that the iPhone 14 has a price difference depending on the needs of the market rather than over time. However, when compared to the iPhone 13, iPhone 14 still recorded a higher price sliding level about 5.7% after 6 months of launch.

It should be noted that the above reference system is only Sellcell for reference of the lowest version of 128GB. Therefore, this figure will vary depending on the models and memory capacity. Details can be seen in the following table:
